Let Kast Iron Soda Works help with your special event! There are a number of services we can provide!

Kast Iron Soda Works Rental

Kast Iron Soda Works offers two space rental options, based on day and time requested.

1) FULL SPACE RENTAL (Sundays and Mondays only)

$150 rental fee up to 2 hrs—additional time will be charged $50/hr (flat, full hour rate only)
Minimum $90 bar tab required (if total tab is below $90, a $90 tab must still be paid; over $90 is paid as such)
Staffing fee of $45/staff member according to the following (additional time will increase the staffing fees):

– up to 40 guests—2 staff members

– 41-59 guests—3 staff members

– 60+ guests—4 staff members (90 maximum guests allowed; seating available for 75)

Additional time will be charged $50/hr (flat, full hour rate only), and an additional $30/hr bar tab

2) BACK ROOM RENTAL (During open hours only) – This allows exclusive use of the back room space, marked as “Reserved”, with the understanding that the space cannot legally be closed off by any barrier, and that staff members make repeated trips to the back storage room throughout open hours and cannot be impeded. Seating available for up to 24, maximum capacity 35. One 6’ folding table is available for use.

$50 (Oct-Apr)/ $75 (May-Sep) rental fee up to 2 hrs
Minimum $60 bar tab required (if total tab is below $60, a $60 tab must still be paid; over $60 is paid as such)
Additional time will be charged $25/hr (flat, full hour rate only), and an additional $20/hr bar tab

Allowances and Expectations of Use:

FOOD: Foods may be carried in or delivered. No alcohol is permitted on the premises of Kast Iron Soda Works. Consideration will be given only to private, full space rental and on a case-by-case basis.
SET-UP: For full facility rental, set-up and/or catering is allowed to enter up to 30 minutes prior to the event start time. If more time is needed, that time will be added to the facility rental fee and charged according to the indicated rate. For back room rental, no extra set-up time is available. All set-up and clean up is to be included within the rental time.
CLEAN UP: Trash should be collected and placed in trash receptacles before leaving. If additional bags are needed, please notify staff—do not stack pizza boxes, etc. on floor. Tables and chairs that were rearranged should be returned to their original position. Staff will remove trash bags to the dumpster.
DAMAGE: Should any damage to the indoor or outdoor property of Kast Iron Soda Works occur by the event hosts, guests, or anyone at Kast Iron Soda Works working on behalf of the event hosts, the cost to repair/replace items or property will be the responsibility of the signatory of this agreement.
CANCELLATION: Please notify of cancellation at least 24-hrs in advance in order to have your deposit refunded. Less than 24-hr notice of cancellation will forfeit the deposit to Kast Iron Soda Works.

Party Keg Rental

Rent a party keg with your favorite Kast Iron draft root beer or soda.

Keg Cooler Rental

5-gallon root beer/soda in cooler – $75.00 (plus sales tax on $55 for soda)

80- 8oz servings
53 – 12oz servings
40 – 16oz servings

10-gallon root beer/soda in cooler – $130.00 (plus sales tax on $110 for soda)

150 – 8oz servings
106 – 12oz servings
80 – 16oz servings

Cost includes:

Keg of Kast Iron root beer (or other soda upon request)
Rental of our mobile Kast Iron keg cooler with single-tower draft handle
Delivery of cooler and keg the day before the event/Pick-up the day after the event up to 30 miles from Kast Iron Soda Works (420 E. State Street, Salem) – additional miles added at $1/mile
Set-up and connection of keg and cooler on site
Sales tax will be calculated on the cost of the keg only

Needed on site:

Flat, hard surface for placement of keg cooler
Electrical Supply with surge protection
General shelter from weather/rain

Keg Purchase Only

5-gallon keg $55.00 (plus sales tax)
10-gallon keg $110.00 (plus sales tax)
keg deposit $40.00

Cost includes: Keg and delivery only. Keg deposit ($40) required. No taps or cooler included.

Needed on site: Tap system that includes ball lock quick disconnects for gas-in and liquid-out lines compatible with Cornelius kegs.

Bulk Bottle Sales

Kast Iron Soda Works offers discounted rates for bulk sales by the case. Orders are subject to availability of labels, and must be placed no less than 15 days prior to delivery date.

–Half/half case cost (2 labels) 15% off retail cost
–Mixed case cost 10% off retail cost

3-9 Cases
–Full case cost (singular labels) 30% off retail cost

–Mixed case cost 20% off retail cost

10+ Cases
–Full case cost 35% off retail cost
–Half/half case cost 30% off retail cost
–Mixed case cost 25% off retail cost

Custom Label Sodas

Kast Iron Soda Works has partnered with a third party bottler to provide custom labeled sodas for your event!

Custom labeled sodas are available in the following flavors:
Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Cream Soda (clear), Blue Raspberry, Orange, Black Cherry, Grape, Strawberry, and Ginger Beer

There is a 1 case (24 bottle) minimum per label – each flavor needs it’s own label. Kast Iron Soda Works can assist with label design for a fee, or can provide label specs and requirements for your own design.

Cases cost $43.00 (sales tax will be added) and must be pre-paid to place the order. Cases include 24 bottles of the same flavor – different flavors can be ordered, but must be ordered by the full case of 24. Sales are taxable, unless a tax exempt certificate is provided. Custom label orders must be prepaid before order is placed.

An optional label design service is available for a $30.00 fee. Includes consultation, drafts, and approval of design.

There is a fuel surcharge of $15.00 per order to cover pick-up from the manufacturer and delivery to you (within a 30 mile radius of Kast Iron Soda Works – additional mileage will be calculated, or you may pick up your product).

Turn-around time from the time the order payment is received and the order is placed is usually 15-20 business days.

Soda Fundraiser

Kast Iron Soda Works can help with your fundraising efforts with specialty soda labels for you 501c3 non-profit.

Custom labeled sodas are available in the following flavors:
Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Cream Soda (clear), Blue Raspberry, Orange, Black Cherry, Grape, Strawberry, and Ginger Beer
